Pure In Heart has been helping our community members become more productive by strengthening their faith in themselves and in God since 2008.

Pure In Heart in Houston, Texas is a dependable women’s ministry helping everyone, especially women from all walks of life, become productive and strengthen their faith in Christ. Our organization was established over a decade ago, and together with our volunteers, we continue to touch the heart and lives of women nationwide.

I'm a proud native Houstonian and life has thrown many curve balls my way but i'm standing on the shoulders of two strong proud women in my life my mother and my grandmother. I know you probably wondering what do I know about the struggles of women that we care for here at Pure in Heart? Well, believe it or not I too have experienced many struggles in this world that have left me with battle scars that have been sealed with the love of God. These obstacles and adversities that I’ve unfortunately experienced have made me stronger and resilient with much tenacity to survive and press on. From molestation, domestic violence leaving me left for dead, thoughts of suicide, and so much more that kept me struggling with my given identity and not walking in my own truth. But with the awakening of Jesus Christ in my life I've found my purpose which is to help each and every hurting woman to become a productive woman, connecting with their true identity and knowing their worth.

In 2008, I was called to ministry and preached my first sermon titled “Pre-Existing Conditions” (Mark 5:25-34) because I was able to relate with this woman that had the issue of blood. My issues were not with blood but life changing experiences that were quite traumatic enough to damage my internal process of being the woman that I have become.

I began my pursuit of education with obtaining my Associate's Degree in Biblical Studies and graduated in 2011 from the College of Biblical Studies of Houston. My thirst for more knowledge grew more and I kept furthering my learning desires by obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Religion and Master's in Christian Ministry Leadership. There are so many hurting women in the world that have feelings of shame, defeat and worthless, but there are those who have pure motives to lift the hearts of women by loving on them until they're strong enough to love themselves. I too once felt that my life was over and I was broken with pieces of my life laying in the sand BUT my faith in God restored me. My desire is for all the women that are drawn to us is to understand they are no longer broken and will become productive, walking boldly in their faith knowing they are worthy and are precious jewels in Christ.
